Southern Illinois Power Cooperative Welcomes Jim Webb

Southern Illinois Power Cooperative is pleased to announce the addition of Jim Webb to their staff as Fuel Supervisor.

Mr. Webb is a 1982 graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla in Civil Engineering and a 1989 graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Master's in Mining Engineering. Before joining SIPC, Mr. Webb recently served as Williamson County Engineer/Highway Superintendent, Illinois Department of Transportation Civil Engineer, and Production Supervisor for The American Coal Company and Kerr-McGee Coal Corporation at the Galatia Mine.

Jim lives south of Marion, IL with his wife and two children. He is involved in various professional organizations as well as the Scottsboro Baptist Church.

Southern Illinois Power Cooperative (SIPC) is located at the Lake of Egypt in Marion, IL. SIPC provides transmission and generation services to a population of more than 200,000 people thru its seven member-owners: Southern IL Electric Cooperative, Southeastern IL Electric Cooperative, Egyptian Electric Cooperative Association, Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Clinton County Electric Cooperative, Monroe County Electric Cooperative and Clay Electric Cooperative. Wholesale contracts are provided to the Cities of Redbud, IL, and McLeansboro, IL.
